The Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigeria Police has invited for questioning a former Governor of Kwara State and serving Senator, Bukola Saraki.
The Senator is to face detectives at the SFU Office at Milverton Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, one week from today on October 20.
A source said that the invitation was based on facts emerging from an unresolved fraud the former Governor allegedly committed during his tenure in office.
He stated that SFU detectives headed by Compol Tunde Ogunsakin, have already visited Kwara State and Joy Petroleum Ltd, one of the companies owned by the Senator.
During their visit, the officers obtained new information on how Saraki embezzled billions of Naira during his tenure as Governor.
Contacted, however, the Public Relations office of the SFU declined to confirm the invitation sent to Mr. Saraki, claiming that today is Saturday.

True that Saraki is guilty as charged. True that POLICE/EFCC is a tool in the hands of Presidency. True also that POLICE/EFCC is not about or after prosecuting him. True that POLICE/EFCC is only being used by Presidency to push Saraki into falling in line to support GEJ bid for 2015. True that if Saraki supports GEJ FOR 2015 Campaign all these charges will be dropped. True, therefore that Saraki will never be prosecuted. True therefore that POLICE/EFCC is acting out a script. POLICE/EFCC should stop fooling Nigerians by pretending to be fighting corruption whereas they are not.

With the level of reckless corruption in Nigeria by govt. officials. The American justice system is desperately needed in Nigeria to clean up the evil perpetrated daily.
Mr. Saraki is 10 times complicit and the EFFC is unable to hang this low life that privatized several govt. infrastructures and bankrupt banks, personally benefited, manipulated civil service rules, including currently runs Kwara State like a cesspool.
